The Reading Festival

The program included, among other activities, visits to public schools in the city, a seminar on children's literature and reading dedicated to teachers and the recital for adults Voices and verses: A night for poetry, with the participation of writers Yosie Crespo ( Cuba), Legna Rodrí­guez Iglesias (Cuba) and Francisco Larios (Nicaragua). The poster illustration was the work of the Mexican illustrator Israel Barrón. Reading Festival 2016 was supported by the Department of Cultural Affairs of Miami-Dade County, Santillana USA, Cultural Institute of Mexico, Spanish Cultural Center, Miami Book Fair, Koubek Center, Artefactus Cultural Project, Bilingual Education Department And Foreign Languages of the Miami-Dade Public Schools, 3Mindware, Jordan-Marcos The Agency, Imago Art in Action, Aeromexico, and other institutions.
