Seminar on Children's Literature 2016
On Saturday, November 19, 2016, the Third Seminar on Children's Literature and Reading was held, organized by the Quatrogatos Foundation and the Miami Book Fair. With the central motto
A world of readers, readers for the world, the event had the following agenda:
- Where is the literature in Spanish for children and young people ?, with the publishers and specialists Paloma Jover (Spain) and Fanuel Hanán Díaz (Venezuela). Coordinator: Antonio Orlando Rodríguez (Cuba-United States).
- Panel A world of readers, readers for the world, with authors María Baranda (Mexico), Cristina Rebull (Cuba-United States) and Jorge Galán (El Salvador). Coordinator: Sergio Andricaín.
- Panel What do we talk
about when we talk about youth literature?, with authors Miren Agur Meabe (Spain), Afonso Cruz (Portugal) and Alejandro Palomas (Spain). Coordinator: Fanuel Hanán Díaz (Venezuela).
- Talk Literature for children and young people: Notes on humor, music and childhood, by the writer and singer-songwriter Luis María Pescetti (Argentina).
