Seminar on Children's Literature 2017
The 4th Seminar on Children's Literature and Reading of the Miami Book Fair was held on Saturday, November 18, 2017. This event is organized by the Fundación Cuatrogatos and the Ibero-American Authors Program of the Miami Book Fair of Miami Dade College. On this occasion the central theme was Challenges of Books for Children and Young People in Turbulent Times. The poster for this Seminar was created by the Venezuelan illustrator and author Menena Cottin.

As a preamble to the Seminar, on November 17 there were writers meetings with children readers of public schools in Miami. The authors José Ignacio Valenzuela, Cristina Rebull, Rita Rosa Ruesga and Antonio Orlando Rodríguez participated in these meetings.
