VII Seminar on Children's Literature and Reading
Starting November 15 at 5:00 p.m. (Miami time) will be online, free of charge, the VII Seminar on Children's Literature and Reading, organized by the Cuatrogatos Foundation and the Miami Book Fair. This year the central theme is Creating and promoting books for children and young people. You can see it both on the Miami Book Fair On Line website (you must register here) and on the YouTube channel of the Cuatrogatos Foundation, in the latter without prior registration.

The 2020 Children's Literature and Reading Seminar will consist of a conference and two panels:
Meeting with the publishers Maribel G. Martínez, from Lóguez Ediciones, in Spain, and Ana Laura Delgado, from Ediciones El Naranjo, in Mexico. Both specialists will talk with the writer and literary researcher Antonio Orlando Rodríguez.
Two young organizations from Latin America - the Matambo and Mirthayú Foundation, from Neiva, Colombia, and the CoLIJbrí Oaxaca Collective, from Mexico - will share their experiences, strategies and challenges in the important work they carry out as mediators between books and the child and youth audience . They will participate in the panel: Diego Lebro, Sara Londoño and Juan Pablo Tovar, from the Matambó and Mirthayú Foundation, and Blanca Lozano Nava and Antonio Toledo, from the CoLIJbrí Oaxaca Collective. The coordination will be in charge of Sergio Andricaín.
