Fourth Annual Symposium on Literature in Spanish for Children and Young Adults of the Miami Book Fair

The Fourth Annual Symposium on Literature in Spanish for Children and Young Adults of the Miami Book Fair will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2017. This event is organized by the Fundación Cuatrogatos and the Ibero-American Authors Program of the Miami Book Fair of Miami Dade College.  On this occasion, the central theme will be "Challenges of Books for Children and Young People in Turbulent Times." This year's event poster was created by Venezuelan illustrator and author Menena Cottin. Admission will be free.

Panel Histories From Here and There. 25 Ibero-American Authors of Children's Narrative.

11:30 am:
Panel Album Barcelona: A Look at the Picture Book in Spain.

Panel Censorship in Venezuela: Children's Literature and Ideological Battle.
