Picnic of Books 2017
This great celebration of the book and reading was held on May 20 at the Koubek Center and its activities were attended by more than 500 children and adults.
Families were able to enjoy a wide and varied cultural program that included:- Concert of the singer and composer Rita Rosa Ruesga, candidate for the Latin Grammy Award in four opportunities.
- Performance by Michael Gil with ethnic musical instruments from different continents.
- Theatrical miniature La margarita blanca, performed by Daisy Fontao.
- Oral narratives with storytellers Leonardo Van, Nitsy Grau, Leopoldo Morales and Nitsy Grau.
- Tales of the world, session of kamishibai by Eddy Díaz Souza.
To finish the event, the Koubek Center gardens were filled with tablecloths and baskets full of "appetizing" books, which children, their parents and grandparents could read and enjoy.Collaborators
